Creative Circles

Connecting through Art

Date: Saturday, 4th October 2014
Time: 10am to 1pm (Arrive at 9.45am)
Venue: South Barwon Community Centre (Art Room),
            33 Mt. Pleasant, Belmont Vic 3216

Cost: $70 includes art materials and morning tea       
        2 for $60 (bring a friend discount)

We all need some ‘me’ time, a time to slow down, connect with your creative side and go on an inner journey to self-discover and attend to your own needs.

Honour your time out and connect with others, using art as the process.

You don’t have to be an artist – you just need to come along with a sense of fun, willingness to connect with your inner-self and in return you will re-energise.

Time to escape your busy life and enter into a few hours of self-love, tranquillity and fun.

Bookings essential- places are strictly limited to 15.

Fees

The cost of the ‘connecting through art’ workshop for 3 hours, is $70 or two for $60, which is payable by cash, a deposit of half prior to the workshop and the remaining cost on the day of the workshop, or via direct deposit.

Cancellation Policy

If, for some reason you need to cancel your spot in the workshop, please give me or the South Barwon Community Centre at least 2 days notice, otherwise you will be charged for the workshop cost (this includes a no-show).

Connecting with your inner wisdom

Honour the wisdom of your body as we journey inwards by connecting with your map of your internal self - using art. You will be guided on an inner journey and self-discover parts of you that exist, which may otherwise lay dormant.  A wonderful experience to understand ourselves better, through the experience of using art as a tool to self-discovery, self-awareness and growth.  Exploring our inner landscape develops the capacity to be loving toward ourselves,

by connecting with our inner world.

★ Develop greater self-awareness & capabilities of your inner strength
★Discover your internal mapping to gain a better understanding of the self
★Learn the skill of growth via connection with your internal landscape
★ Live in the present moment, by discovering the mind- body connection and give yourself the gift to      love your inner and outer self.

Term 3 At SBCC

Our new program for Term 3, 2014 is now available for download via the link in the top left corner of this page. We have some great new programs coming up including wonderfully formulated drawing class, so please download a copy and contact the Centre on 5243 8388 for more information or to secure a place in any of our classes or groups.

Once again for 2014 SBCC has ATO accredited volunteers on
Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the tax season. If you’ve earned under $50k and not used an ABN for the last financial
year there is a very good chance you can use our service.

July 14.

Term 2, 2014 At SBCC

Welcome to Term 2 at South Barwon Community Centre! Our new programme is up via link on the top left corner of this page. Please not that SBCC is CLOSED from April 18 and will reopen on April 28th so please call the centre before Good Friday for more information or email the centre at info@sbcc.org.au and we'll get back to you upon the recommencement of Term 2.

Our 9th Annual Book Sale will be on Saturday 24th of May from  9am -1:30pm at 33 Mt Pleasant Rd, Belmont and we'll be taking book donations up until Friday May 23rd. Please contact us to drop off your unwanted books and we'll endeavour to find them a new home!

Term 1 2014 Is Underway

We apologise for our program's tardiness for Term 1 2014 but we now have both our computer and group programs available for download via the links in the top left hand corner of this window.

Many of our courses are ongoing and can be paid on a weekly basis we hope that you find this more accommodating.

Be sure to check out our new reVITALise Your Life sessions with Diane Marks starting on the 27th of February. More details are in our current program.
