Some fantastic ideas of "Savage Gardens" and what we are aiming to create.

Please Help!

Can you help us?

The SBCC is embarking on an ambitious project to be established in the front and sides of our property.
This project will be a self sustaining, environmentally friendly "Salvage Garden" and therefore everything that we use in the garden will be donated and recycled.

We therefore need the following things:
- Seedling Trays
- Plant Pots
- Potting Mix
- Old Seeds
- Interesting Vegetable Seedlings
- Lacquer
- Lattice
- Sleepers, and
- An Old Outdoor Setting

If you are able to help us by donating any of the above listed items, please feel free to leave them at our reception.

New Life!

Hi All!
The SBCC Blog is officially under new management! That's right! NEW MANAGEMENT!
This means that there will be more posts, more interaction and more life breathed into this page over the coming weeks and months.

This is due to the fact that we have a lovely new young volunteer by the name of Sarah who has joined the SBCC team on a Wednesday where she will be in charge of all things social media related.

Sarah is currently in her 3rd year of a Bachelor of Arts at Victoria University in Footscray where she is majoring in Sociology and Gender Studies. Through VU, she has been lucky enough to take part in their study abroad program which saw Sarah spend 6 months in 2012 living and studying in the UK, while having the chance to travel and explore a large proportion of Europe.
Since returning, Sarah has become involved with the VU Aussie Mates program where she is on through which she 'takes care' of two girls currently on exchange at VU from the UK. Sarah also plays netball for Geelong West and loves all things cute and fluffy, especially her very spoilt dog Gus.
